The four friends eventually married each other and moved into the same street! Unsurprisingly, Julian and Laura grew up as childhood friends who even attended the same primary school. Over time however, they found their own circle of friends and eventually became little more than acquaintances. It was years later when they reconnected at a mutual friend’s wedding, that Julian’s friendship with the “girl-next-door” developed into something more, even though Laura was already based abroad then. They talk about how pre-courtship carried them through the testings of a long distance relationship.
