Give Our All to God

[Preached by Pastor Kenneth Chin at Acts Church Malaysia – 8 June, 2014]

Inspiration from Matthew 19:26: It is impossible with men, but with God, all things are possible.

Give our all to God in order to make things possible.

None of the amazing feats which mankind has achieved throughout the years could be achieved with hesitation.

When there is hesitation in giving our all, nothing great can be accomplished. Even champions fail at the very last minute, because they hesitate at the moment which mattered and counted.

Let’s not hesitate but give our all to God!

We should love God with all of our heart, soul, strength, and mind (Luke 10:27 & Deuteronomy 6:5) just as how God gave us His all through Jesus.

We should trust God with all of our hearts and not lean on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5)

The biblical story of the widow’s two mites in Mark 12:41-44 is a great example of how we offer ourselves to God and not so much of what we offer to God. The rich gave out of their abundance but the widow gave her all.

Even if it is just two mites, it means a lot to God when it comes from our hearts. As long as we have given our all to God, we have done our best which is good enough for God and good enough for us.

We should go all the way or do not go at all, because anything less than going all the way does not make a difference to God.
