Giving + Receiving Feedback Well

Feedback isn’t always easy to give or to hear, but it’s one of the most powerful ways a church grows. In this message, we’re reminded to start from the belief that everyone has good intentions. Often the issue isn’t the heart, it’s the delivery, and delivery can be learned, discipled, and healed. Whether you’re a leader receiving hard words or someone with something difficult to share, you’ll be encouraged to lead with humility, speak with a positive spirit, and keep the truth even when it comes in a messy package. Make it easy for people to come to you, and bring your concerns “with a spoonful of sugar.”
