The Lord’s Prayer: Lead Us Not Into Temptation

Lead us not into temptation, deliver us from the evil one. We need to keep our hands clean and our hearts pure, because defilement is a door for the devil. If we keep a wound unclean, it will make us vulnerable to infection. In the same way, defilement gives the devil an advantage. Do not be ignorant about it and ask God to cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
